The Hampshire FA Pan-Disability season has drawn to a close with the AFC Bournemouth Ability Counts teams visiting Eastleigh for the final round of fixtures last weekend.

Teams representing the Cherries in the under-12, under-16 and senior age groups all took their turn to play on the first team pitch at the Silverlake Stadium in their final round of games. Following the fixtures, each player received the individual participation medal.

The senior Blacks team were also crowned champions of their league and awarded their trophy as part of the presentation.

To sum up what has been another fantastic campaign, Head of Community Steve Cuss spoke with afcb.co.uk: “I'd like to congratulate all the players on a very successful season.

“The opportunity to train weekly and represent AFC Bournemouth has been done with great skill and pride.”

The teams train once a week at venues in Bournemouth and play a round of fixtures on the first Sunday of every month.
