In preparation for the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, AFC Bournemouth are delighted to confirm their pre-season training camp this coming summer will be held in Los Angeles, California.

The playing squad will be travelling to the west coast of the United States on 15 July, and will be based primarily at Dignity Health Sports Park, the world-class training facilities of MLS team LA Galaxy. The two-week trip will also take in a visit to Santa Barbara, and Bill Foley's stunning Hotel Californian.

The tour sees the Cherries competing in their first two friendly matches of pre-season, with details to be confirmed in due course. Fans can pre-register their interest here to receive further information on tour updates and ticket details including hospitality packages.

AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said: "I'm delighted that we're able to confirm this exciting news, and that we will be providing the best possible preparation for the playing squad to continue their great work of this season.

"We've secured an incredible facility for Andoni and his staff to operate in, for the start of what will be an historic season for AFC Bournemouth as we prepare to move into a state-of-the-art training ground of our own."

AFC Bournemouth president of business Jim Frevola said: "It's great that we're able to take the team back to the US for the first time in nearly ten years. I'm so excited to head out there to see and grow our fanbase in the area, and to continue to develop the club off the field.

"We were thrilled by the recent Premier League event in Nashville, and now we can't wait to meet with more Cherries fans out on the west coast."

The club can also confirm it will once again host two friendlies at Vitality Stadium in the build-up to the opening Premier League match round, which is set to take place on the weekend of 17 August 2024. Opponents for these fixtures will be announced over the summer.
