Molly Barron-Clark

Position:
Midfielder
Date of birth:
22nd August 1991
Nationality:
English
Previous clubs:
Portsmouth

Barron-Clark, who has represented Team GB at beach football, has an impressive CV, turning out for Bristol City in the Women’s Super League and playing her part as the side reached the 2011 Women’s FA Cup final.

Additionally, the midfielder, who turned out for Yeovil in the 2015 WSL Spring Series, has more than 100 appearances for fellow south coast outfit Portsmouth, plus experience playing for West Ham United during their rise up the leagues.

She had an immediate impact for Steve Cuss’ side on her debut in September 2020, scoring a hat-trick as the Cherries won 10-1 against Eastleigh in the FA Cup on the opening day of the season.

Despite her maiden year with the club being halted in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Barron-Clark still bagged 19 goals in all competitions and helped the Cherries reach the first round proper of the FA Cup for just the second time in history.

She impressed again in 2022/23, netting eight goals in her 20 appearances and helping the side win the Hampshire Senior Cup for the first time in history.

Barron-Clark not only plays for the club, but she also works for AFC Bournemouth too, undertaking a role in the Community Sports Trust as a girls and women's development officer.

She was voted as the best beach soccer player in the world in November 2021, travelling to the UAE for a special award ceremony where she picked up her award.
