For Jonny Stuttle and the under-18s, yesterday evening's FA Youth Cup victory was one of their career highlights so far.
It was a perfect evening on Tyneside, with an emphatic 5-0 victory away to Newcastle United at St James' Park securing progression to round five.
Stuttle stole the headlines with a hat-trick on the night and was still beaming from ear-to-ear when he caught up with afcb.co.uk the next morning.
"I'm buzzing, to be honest," he began.
"It was a special night for everyone and it was nice to get the three goals personally. The result was obviously the main goal and we got that, so we're all really happy.
"At the moment, it doesn't get much better! It's still a bit surreal and it hasn't really hit me. As I said, it's always nice to score a hat-trick, but the result was the main objective. I'm just so glad we achieved it."
Stuttle, who tops the scoring charts for the under-18s this season, spoke about the message that was given in the dressing room at half-time, with the Cherries already four goals to the good at St James' Park.
He went on to praise the dedication of manager, James Lowy, who took on the role of youth team manager last summer.
"We said to ourselves that we couldn't get carried away.
"We obviously had the lead at half-time, but we knew the talent they had and we knew what they could be capable of. We just had to keep doing our jobs and see the game out.
"The mood in the camp at the moment is brilliant - all the lads are so happy. There's been a really good feeling throughout the team and it's great to be a part of it.
"In terms of James Lowy, he's great. He's so professional and thorough with everything he does, whether it's a training session or a match.
"He demands such high standards of us and our success yesterday is down to the work of him and his coaching staff. The work they put in behind the scenes is excellent."
The striker admitted what a boost it is to have the new training ground being built, admitting it will give the youth team an even better environment to base themselves in every week.
"It's massive to have the new facility at Canford being built. When you see places like St James' Park, it's grounds like those that you one day want to be playing in week in, week out.
"The training ground will give us a massive boost so that we have the best opportunity to do that.
"Playing at that stadium yesterday, it doesn't really hit you until you actually stop and think about it. It's such an iconic stadium and was a nice occasion to play there."
Stuttle concluded by looking ahead to the next ground, with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur on the horizon for him and his teammates.
"It's one of those. We know it's going to be a tough place to go, they have a great setup," he said.
"We've beaten Newcastle, we've got our tails up and we have momentum. We just have to go into it with that mindset and see what can happen."
