Under-18s midfielder Karlos Gregory believes his side are good enough to turn recent defeats into positive results.
The Cherries man played 90 minutes in the defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and despite being on the losing side, impressed with his intelligent touches and ability to break the line.
Speaking to afcb.co.uk at the end of the game, he admitted the immediate reaction was disappointment: “There’s frustration from me and everyone else.
“We lost the game before this as well and everyone is frustrated with it but I think it is a good time to reflect on our own performances, come together and change it really quickly.”
The middle man is determined to see the positives from the performances too, as the Cherries adapt to category two football.
He said: “I think there's been there's been really good moments, a lot of good moments. There’s obviously times when we can score good goals and penetrate teams and create these good chances but I think it comes too late in the game.
“So I think it's just something we need to work on, making sure we never switch off. I think there's a physicality difference [when stepping up to category two[ and the game tempo is a lot quicker.
“We can manage it, we won our first two games and I think we need to keep momentum from those games.
“I think the more games we play, we’ll get used to the physicality and the speed and we’re building a better relationship between the first-years and second-years, so that will help too.”
