AFC Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi has been named in Ukraine's squad for their upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 qualifier with England.

The 20-year-old signed for the Cherries in January but has yet to make his debut as he completes his recovery from an ankle injury, and he will be hoping he'll be fit enough to feature for Ukraine at the end of March.

Ukraine's qualification campaign begins at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 26th March with a game against England (5pm kick-off), their only game of the international period.

Zabarnyi will also take part in a training camp ahead of the fixture, with further qualifiers against Italy, Malta and North Macedonia still to come in the months ahead.

He'll be hoping to add to his 24 caps for Ukraine in the rematch of the EURO 2020 quarter-final between the two nations, which England won 4-0.
