Enes Ünal makes his full debut for AFC Bournemouth in tonight’s Emirates FA Cup fifth-round encounter with Leicester City at Vitality Stadium (7.30pm kick-off).

The striker has made three substitute appearances in the Premier League since joining the Cherries on loan from La Liga outfit Getafe last month.

Ünal has played and scored in domestic cup competitions in Turkey, Belgium, Holland and Spain – and will add England to the list when he starts against the Foxes.

The 26-year-old Turkey international is one of no fewer than six changes made by head coach Andoni Iraola following the Cherries’ narrow 1-0 defeat by Manchester City on Saturday.

Dango Ouattara is named in the starting line-up and will also make his debut in the FA Cup, while Mark Travers, Alex Scott, Luis Sinisterra and Philip Billing also come in.

Iraola’s class of 2024 will be looking to reach the quarter-finals for only the third time in the club’s history, joining teams managed by Freddie Cox in 1956/57 and Jonathan Woodgate in 2020/21.

Having beaten the Cherries in the last eight three years ago, Southampton lost out to Leicester in the semi-finals, the Foxes going on to lift the trophy after triumphing 1-0 against Chelsea in the final.

Currently top of the Championship, Leicester, Premier League winners in 2015/16, set up a trip to Vitality Stadium after seeing off Millwall and Birmingham City.

Should tonight’s tie not be settled after 90 minutes, extra-time and then penalties would take place to determine the winners.

The draw for the quarter-finals will be broadcast live on ITV4 at approximately 7pm in the build-up to the game between Chelsea and Leeds on Thursday.
