Alex Scott and Justin Kluivert are both restored to the AFC Bournemouth starting line-up for today’s Premier League encounter with Fulham at Vitality Stadium.

Scott comes in for Lewis Cook who suffered an adductor injury during the Cherries’ eventful 3-2 victory against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The midfielder replaced Cook during the first half at the City Ground before he was substituted 20 minutes from time having picked up a yellow card.

Kluivert, who has made 13 appearances in the Premier League this season, is drafted in for Philip Billing who is named among the Cherries substitutes.

Max Aarons, who has missed the Cherries’ past five games due to a hamstring injury, makes a welcome return and is also named on the bench.

Having won five and drawn one of their past six league games, the Cherries will be looking to match their longest unbeaten run in the top flight which came during 2017/18.

A victory or a draw would see the Cherries move into tenth place in the table, while a Fulham win would see them do likewise.

Dom Solanke, the Cherries’ hat-trick hero at Forest, has scored in his past four league games against Fulham, including the winner at Vitality Stadium in April 2023.

Cherries head coach Andoni Iraola will be forced to watch proceedings from the stands having picked up a one-match touchline ban after collecting a third booking of the season at Nottingham Forest.

Meanwhile, Fulham striker Raúl Jiménez serves the final game of a three-match ban following his sending off against Newcastle earlier this month.

AFC Bournemouth: Neto, Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Ouattara, Scott, Christie, Semenyo, Kluivert, Tavernier, Solanke.

Subs: Mepham, Aarons, Rothwell, Brooks, Sinisterra, Moore, Billing, Greenwood, Travers (g/k).

Fulham: Leno, Tete, Tosin, Bassey, Robinson, João Palhinha, Cairney, De Cordova-Reid, Pereira, Iwobi, Muniz Carvalho.

Subs: Wilson, Castagne, Reed, Lukic, Diop, Harris, Carlos Vinícius, Ballo-Touré, Rodák (g/k).
