AFC Bournemouth
Antoine Semenyo is named in the AFC Bournemouth starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash with Liverpool at Anfield.
Semenyo makes his first start under head coach Andoni Iraola and his third since joining the Cherries from Bristol City in January 2023.
The 23-year-old forward is the only change made by Iraola following the Cherries’ 1-1 draw with West Ham in their top-flight curtain-raiser.
Semenyo made an impact when he came off the bench against the Hammers, his deflected shot falling for Dom Solanke to net the hosts’ equaliser.
He comes in for David Brooks whose 75-minute display against West Ham was his most match minutes in a competitive game since he returned from a lengthy illness and injury absence.
There is a welcome return on the bench for Lloyd Kelly, the defender having been sidelined by injury since the warm-weather training camp in Marbella in July.
Liverpool name an unchanged starting line-up following their 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
