AFC Bournemouth’s summer signing Alex Scott is handed his Premier League debut in today’s meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Scott joined the Cherries from Championship outfit Bristol City and was nursing a knee injury when he made the switch to Vitality Stadium.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who was briefly on the club’s books as a youngster, returned to training earlier this month and has impressed head coach Andoni Iraola and his staff.

Guernsey-born Scott is one of four changes to the Cherries starting line-up with Max Aarons, Lloyd Kelly and David Brooks returning.

Kelly, who has missed the past three games due to injury, replaces Marcos Senesi, while Aarons, who came off the bench late on against Everton, comes in for Adam Smith.

Brooks, who started for Wales in their 2-1 win over Croatia in a Euro 2024 qualifier in midweek, is restored in favour of Dango Ouattara.

He lines up alongside Marcus Tavernier who netted the only goal of the game when the Cherries grabbed a crucial victory at Molineux in February.

For the visitors, Mario Lemina is suspended after being sent off against Aston Villa ahead of the international break, while Nélson Semedo is banned for picking up five yellow cards.
