Lewis Cook and Luis Sinisterra both return to the AFC Bournemouth starting line-up for today’s Premier League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur in North London.

Midfielder Cook missed the 3-0 win over Fulham on Boxing Day having been forced off during the first half against Nottingham Forest with an adductor problem.

Frontman Sinisterra is drafted in for his second top-flight start for the Cherries having come off the bench to complete the scoring with a stunning strike against Fulham.

Cook and Sinisterra replace Alex Scott and Antoine Semenyo who are both named among the Cherries substitutes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Andoni Iraola’s in-form team will be looking to extend their seven-match unbeaten run and set a new club record in the top flight having never previously gone eight games without tasting defeat.

They will also be hoping to match – or even surpass – their highest points total at the halfway stage of a season in the Premier League which currently stands at 26, achieved in 2018/19.

Seven wins and a draw from their past nine games have yielded the Cherries 22 points, adding to the three they took from their first nine, leaving them on 25.

The Cherries registered their first win against Tottenham in North London thanks to goals from Matías Viña, Dom Solanke and Dango Ouattara’s injury-time clincher in April last season.

Dejan Kulusevski, who was on target in Tottenham’s 2-0 win at Vitality Stadium in August, is ruled out for the hosts after collecting his fifth booking of the season against Brighton, the Swede replaced by Giovani Lo Celso.

AFC Bournemouth: Neto, Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Ouattara, Cook, Christie, Sinisterra, Kluivert, Tavernier, Solanke.

Subs: Mepham, Aarons, Rothwell, Brooks, Semenyo, Moore, Billing, Scott, Travers (g/k).

Tottenham Hotspur: Vicario, Porro, Emerson Royal, Davies, Udogie, Sarr, Lo Celso, Johnson, Bentancur, Son Heung-min, Richarlison.

Subs: Gil, Dier, Højbjerg, Phillips, Véliz, Skipp, Donley, Dorrington, Forster (g/k).

Referee: Simon Hooper.
