AFC Bournemouth have made two changes to the side that beat Stoke City 2-1 at Vitality Stadium last week.

The Cherries take on Preston North End at Deepdale, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.

Nat Phillips has recovered from his illness and is straight back in the side this afternoon, with Chris Mepham on the bench.

Jaidon Anthony is also back fit, having not played since the victory away to Blackpool. He comes in for Siriki Dembele, who will also start on the sidelines.

Adam Smith continues his comeback from injury, claiming the right-back spot for a second week running and will sit at the back alongside captain Lloyd Kelly, Jordan Zemura and Phillips.

Jefferson Lerma serves the third game of his four-match suspension and will be available again for selection against Derby County next weekend.

Further forward, Dominic Solanke will lead the line, with Anthony and Jamal Lowe either side, the latter retaining his place after netting an 89th minute winner against the Potters seven days ago.

Ryan Christie also returns to the squad having suffered a quad injury at the start of February as the Cherries defeated Birmingham City.

Cherries XI: Travers; Smith, Phillips, Kelly (C), Zemura; Cook, Billing, Cantwell; Lowe, Anthony, Solanke.

Bench: Woodman, Laird, Mepham, Pearson, Marcondes, Christie, Dembele.
