AFC Bournemouth started 2021 with a well deserved 1-0 victory away at Stoke City.
The Potters had the most clean sheets out of any tram in the league in 2020, but Junior Stanislas was on hand with 11 minutes to play with to clinically finish and score the only goal of the game.
The win also presented a sixth clean sheet in seven matches for Jason Tindall's side.
The three points leave the Cherries in third place in the SkyBet Championship with a game in hand over both Norwich and Swansea City in first and second place.
