AFC Bournemouth were 2-0 winners over Stoke City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
Dominic Solanke and Joe Rothwell were on the scoresheet at Vitality Stadium, as Andoni Iraola's side progressed to round four of the competition.
Dango Ouattara provided the best opportunity for the Cherries in the first half, with a smart turn forcing an excellent save from Jack Bonham.
It was just after the interval when substitute Solanke broke the deadlock, taking a touch and coolly finishing Adam Smith's ball in.
Moments later and it was two, as Rothwell's free-kick averted everyone in the box and went straight beyond Bonham.
