Last weekend, AFC Bournemouth’s Community Sports Trust welcomed pupils from three local schools, who have taken part in Primary Stars, to Vitality Stadium for a matchday event.

The pupils representing Ferndown Middle School, Epiphany Primary School and St. Mary’s Primary School took part in some football coaching and skills games, along with small-sided matches on the 3G pitches behind Vitality Stadium.

Following their activities, the pupils took their seats inside the stadium for the Premier League fixture between AFC Bournemouth and West Ham United. They also took part in the half-time penalty shoot-out and relay race around the outside of the pitch.

Speaking after the event, head of community Steve Cuss commented: “It was fantastic to bring three local primary schools in to enjoy a tournament but also to watch a Premier League match as part of our Premier League Primary Stars programme.”

AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust are delighted to be able to offer matchday opportunities, along with other fixtures at Vitality Stadium as further opportunities from the Premier League Primary Stars programme.
