Last weekend, AFC Bournemouth Powerchair team travelled to Hatfield for the next round of the South East League powerchair fixtures.

During the day, the Cherries faced Crystal Palace and Aspire Lions and were winners in both games.

The first game of the day saw the Cherries face Crystal Palace, who started strongly and played good attacking football. They took an early lead as a shot from a corner saw the ball go behind goalkeeper, Sophie.

The Cherries trailed for the entire first half of the game, but came out stronger after the break, scoring an early goal through Chris.

A well worked Cherries corner from Regan found Adam, who passed the ball to Chris at the back-post, putting it away and drawing the scores level.

A second goal for AFC Bournemouth was then scored, again by Chris, towards the end of the half to see the side take all three points.

In their second fixture of the day, the team faced Aspire Lions. The Cherries were dominant from the start, and two early goals from Regan quickly put the side in front. Aspire fought back and were able to level the score by half-time.

The second half was tough for the AFC Bournemouth team, but they worked hard to come back to secure a 5-2 victory with a fantastic performance.
