Travis Perkins (New Milton) were crowned champions of AFC Bournemouth’s final corporate golf day of 2022 at Ferndown Golf Club.

The event, which was kindly jointly-sponsored by Style Limited and 1st Waste Management, was staged in support of the club’s four chosen charities – Hope For Food, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, MyTime Young Carers and the Isabel Baker Foundation.

Competitors braved the elements, including a short suspension in play due to thunder and lightning, and played some excellent golf before enjoying a sumptuous two-course meal.

The club’s thanks go to all those businesses that supported the event with a team or hole sponsorship, Ferndown Golf Club for allowing us to stage the event and especially to Style and 1st Waste Management for their kind sponsorship.

The best two scores on each hole counted for the main prize, while Tolchards Ltd won the Charity Challenge with all scores combined on the four par threes.
