O’Marah Construction were crowned champions of AFC Bournemouth’s final corporate charity golf of the year day at Ferndown Golf Club.

They edged out runners-up Travis Perkins (New Milton) by a solitary Stableford point, the winners carding 96 (best two scores on each hole).

Ferndown Chipperdales won the Par Three Charity Challenge with 37 points (all four scores on each par three).

The well-attended event was kindly sponsored by Westmade Limited and Style Partitions (South), two local companies which continue to support the club.

Although heavy rain resulted in play being delayed for an hour, competitors warmed up once the sun broke through and some impressive scores were recorded.

Competitors enjoyed coffee and a bacon roll on arrival and were treated to a sumptuous two-course roast dinner afterwards.

AFC Bournemouth would like to thank all competitors and sponsors for their support and Ferndown Golf Club for allowing the event to go ahead and for their excellent catering.
