AFC Bournemouth are delighted to announce that Bournemouth Town Centre BID have extended their partnership with the club until the end of the season.

The local organisation, who are in their third year working with the Cherries, become an Official Partner of The Net, the club’s free-to-join business club.

Primarily funded by the levy-payers, the BID has invested more than £6m into the town centre in its first ten years and plans to invest a further £3m between 2022 and 2027.

A not-for-profit company first established in 2012, they represent and support more than 700 levy paying businesses in the town, working to help promote the area as a safe, attractive and welcoming place to visit.

The BID will feature on matchday and stadium advertising, plus they will play an influential role in the business club’s upcoming events.

Their aim is to use the partnership to further support the growth of value and commercial gain in Bournemouth.

Following the partnership extension, AFC Bournemouth’s commercial director Rob Mitchell spoke with afcb.co.uk: “It’s great to have the BID extend their support of the club until the end of the season.

“We’ve worked with Paul for a few years now and it’s great to see how much he and the company are helping Bournemouth Town Centre. We look forward to working closely with them again over the next few months.”

Paul Kinvig of Bournemouth Town Centre BID also shared his delight:

“The partnership with AFC Bournemouth, especially through our links with their business club “The Net,” not only helps drive our Town Centre Gift Card project to the hundreds of businesses they reach but also creates opportunities for joint town centre projects that bot our organisations are committed to supporting.”
