AFC Bournemouth
AFC Bournemouth were delighted to team up with Beryl, a regional partner and executive partner of AFC Business.
The company has been supporting our women’s team, who were on hand to help run a Beryl Bike vs Beryl Kids challenge.
Taking place at Vitality Stadium, team challenges included a football scavenger hunt, an emergency stop challenge and a riding challenge which took place in pairs.
The emergency stop test was great for testing the reaction skills of our women’s team, who all got stuck into the challenges presented to them.
Founded in 2012, Beryl is the UK’s leading micro-mobility provider and works in partnership with some of the country’s largest transport authorities.
Initially launched in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole as a bike share scheme in March 2019, the scheme has expanded to include e-bikes as well as e-scooters in Bournemouth and Poole. Since launching, it has generated over 1,375,000 journeys across more than 5,000,000 km.
Bikes and e-scooters can be hired through the Beryl app, available for free download on the app store for iOS, and the Google Play Store for Android users.
AFC Bournemouth would like to extend its thanks to Beryl for getting our women’s team involved in the series of fun challenges at Vitality Stadium.
You can now get your tickets to watch the women’s team in action against Maidenhead United at Vitality Stadium on Sunday 16th April at 2pm. Click here to buy.
