Dominic Sadi's strike against Newport County has been voted as the club's Goal of the Month for November.

Sponsored by Strategic Solutions, the development squad midfielder won the poll on Twitter with 32.1% of the vote, beating off competition from Dominic Solanke (30.3%), Philip Billing (27.2%) and Jaidon Anthony (10.5%).

It's the only time so far this season that a non-first team player has won the award, with Sadi's strike catching the eye amongst supporters.

The winning goal was one of four scored by the midfielder in a superb 8-2 win over Newport County in a friendly at Canford Arena.

Sadi picked up the ball just outside the area and pulled off an impressive pirouette before finishing into the bottom corner past the Exiles 'keeper.

After picking up the award from members of Strategic Solutions, he spoke with afcb.co.uk about his delight at receiving the trophy.

"I'm very happy. Even to be nominated was just amazing and going up against competition such as Philip Billing and Dominic Solanke. It's a dream come true.

"I constantly kept checking the vote every ten seconds and I was trying to get friends to vote, so that I might have a chance of winning!

"The pirouette is just something I do when I'm back home and playing with friends. I was just getting into the groove of the game, I was coming onto my forefoot and I guess it's just muscle memory when it happened. I was buzzing to score with it."

AFC Bournemouth would like to extend its thanks to Strategic Solutions for sponsoring the award.
