AFC Bournemouth's loanees enjoyed another successful weekend both abroad and across the EFL.

Sam Matthews

Matthews stole the show for Eastleigh in their 4-1 win at Solihull Moors, netting his first ever senior hat-trick and bagging an assist at Danson Park.

The midfielder opened the scoring on 34th minutes, sweeping home Chris Zebroski’s cut back to give Eastleigh the lead going into half time.

After the break, two goals in as many minutes saw a first career hat-trick for the youngster. A fine individual goal came first, before he tucked home a loose ball inside the area.

And Matthews wasn’t done there, as he sent the ball back across goal for Paul McCallum to tap home on 68 minutes.

This performance was on top of Matthews winning Eastleigh’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season for this campaign.

Benik Afobe

Afobe started and played 55 minutes of Wolves’ 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday, as the midlands side went on to lift the Championship trophy following the game.

Wolves confirmed their top place finish last week with a 4-0 win over Bolton Wanderers, with Afobe scoring their second.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side currently sit on 99 points and will have to wait until their trip to Sunderland on the last day of the season to see if they can cross the 100-point mark for the second time in five years.

Lewis Grabban

In a tight game between two sides likely to make the Championship play-offs, Grabban bagged an 84th minute equaliser for Aston Villa against Derby County.

The striker fired in from close range in the closing stages as Villa cemented fourth place in the Championship.

Steve Bruce’s men now face a trip to Millwall on the final day of the season, before the play-offs commence the following week.

Max Gradel

Gradel played a full game for Toulouse as they faced a trip to Rennes, but the Ivorian couldn’t make an impact as his side lost 2-1.

The French outfit currently sit 17th in Ligue 1 with three games to go.

Kieffer Moore and Oli McBurnie netted for the hosts to end the Bees’ play off hopes for the 2017/18 season.

A huge three points for Jose Morais’ side now sees them out of the relegation zone on 41 points with one game to go.

Baily Cargill

Cargill got another 90 minutes under his belt, as Partick Thistle scored a last-minute penalty to secure a 1-1 draw at St. Johnstone.

Joe Shaughnessy nodded the hosts in front, before Conor Sammon converted a spot kick with a minute remaining.

Ryan Allsop

Allsop faced a tricky game away at table toppers Accrington Stanley, who were bidding to become League Two champions.

Jordan Clark’s strike 35 minutes in, however, sealed the deal and the Lancashire outfit ran out 1-0 winners over Lincoln and Allsop.

Aaron Ramsdale

However, a fifth place finish means that the side will now go into the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division play offs, where they will meet King’s Lynn Town.

Patrick O’Flaherty

At the other end of the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division, Gosport Borough pulled off a great escape, having been battling against the drop for most of the season.
