Tyler Cordner will spend the rest of the season with Southend United after agreeing a loan move with the League Two side.

Cordner will now link up with familiar Cherries faces in his former under-21s coach Mark Molesley, who is now manager at Roots Hall, fellow loanee Kyle Taylor and former Bournemouth man Shaun Hobson.

Southend host Bradford City in the league on Tuesday evening, with Cordner expected to be registered in time to play in the fixture.

The centre-back played 17 times in the same division for Scunthorpe United earlier this season, a stint that included 12 appearances in League Two as well as an EFL Trophy goal away at Lincoln City.
