AFC Bournemouth has today announced its official partnership with The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), which marks the latest US collaboration for the Cherries.

The multi-year deal will include the “Visit Las Vegas” logo featured on the club’s training kit, in-stadium exposure and matchday activations that will channel the excitement and energy of Las Vegas.

Hot on the heels of several global sporting events including Formula 1’s inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix this past November and Super Bowl LVIII, which took place at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium earlier this month, the AFC Bournemouth partnership further solidifies the destination as the ‘The Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World’ and elevates Las Vegas within its largest overseas market. Last year, 550,000 British visitors travelled to Las Vegas, with many attending sporting events, screening parties, and other related activations throughout the destination.

“We are grateful to AFC Bournemouth for their partnership and bringing us the opportunity to expand our sports brand internationally,” said Steve Hill, President and CEO of the LVCVA. “We look forward to delivering some of Vegas’ signature energy directly to Vitality Stadium throughout the remainder or this season and beyond.”

With the destination playing host to special high-profile sports events throughout the year, plus a thrilling roster of nine major league professional teams that include the National Football League’s (NFL) Las Vegas Raiders and the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Vegas Golden Knights, there is something for every type of sports fan in Vegas.

Jim Frevola, AFC Bournemouth President of Business Operations, said: “I’m excited to announce this partnership as it’s a great fit for both parties. Our ownership having roots in Vegas, and with the city itself fast becoming an important sporting destination, this makes for a strong relationship. I’m thankful to all at LVCVA for working with us to make this happen, and I look forward to seeing what we can create together.”

The team’s connection to Vegas started in 2022 when Bill Foley, owner of the Vegas Golden Knights, invested in the club. Since then, the club has also announced a community partnership with the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club (DVLSC), a leading local non-profit youth soccer organisation in the city.
