The under-18s' match at Peterborough was delayed by 90 minutes after the AFC Bournemouth coach broke down on the way to the game.

The Posh twice took the lead in the game, early in the first and then early in the second half, with first Sam Sherring and then a Jaidon Anthony penalty levelling the score.

However, a last-minute goal from Morgan Penfold won the game for Peterborough, who claimed their win by the odd goal in five.

Coach Carl Fletcher reflected on a challenging day for his side: "It was tough, we only had ten minutes to warm up ahead of the game but apart from the first ten minutes of the first half and the first five of the second half we did pretty well.

"Sometimes in football things happen and as a player you still have to deal with that in matches. We dominated the game for long periods, they had three shots and scored three goals.

"There were plenty of thing to learn and grow from, overall it was a good test."
