James Lowy was appointed manager of the AFC Bournemouth under-18s squad in July 2023.
He joined the club as a part-time academy coach in 2018 and made the transition into a full-time role as lead coach of the under-nines and tens in August 2019.
In 2022, he moved from the foundation phase into the youth development phase, working with the club’s under-13s to under-16s and taking charge of the under-15s.
He combined his role with assisting with the professional development phase which includes the under-18s and development squad.
Lowy graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Sports Development and Coaching Science, coaching locally while he completed his badges having also worked in the academy ranks at Crystal Palace.
