Adam Federici arrived at Vitality Stadium in 2015 following the club’s promotion to the top flight and has made 17 appearances for the Cherries.
The Australian began his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers but spent the majority of his career at Reading from 2005 until his move to the south coast in 2015.
The goalkeeper spent the first three years out on loan at five different clubs before getting his chance to play as the club’s number one, making 209 appearances in total.
Federici was a key figure in Reading’s run to the FA Cup semi final in 2015 and moved to AFC Bournemouth at the end of that season after his contract expired at the club.
The Australian played in 12 games in the Cherries first season in the Premier League, keeping a clean sheet on his debut in the side's 4-0 win over Hartlepool in the League Cup.
Federici then went on to make five appearances last season, keeping a clean sheet in the 1-0 win away at Stoke City before suffering a knee cartilage injury in February, subsequently ruling him out for the rest of the season.
