AFC Bournemouth Women will take to the Vitality Stadium pitch on Tuesday 15th May 2018.

Chelsea Development will be the visitors in a 6.45pm kick-off, with free entry for all fans.

Ahead of the game, the AFC Bournemouth girls sides will have a training session on the pitch, ahead of being flagbearers, mascots and ball girls during the game.

Steve Davies’ side are currently top of the Southern Region Women’s Football League, with a big game against second place Warsash Wasps this weekend.

Should the Cherries gain promotion, they’ll enter the Southern Region Women’s Premier League for the start of next season.

Ahead of the friendly at Vitality Stadium, head of community Steve Cuss shared his excitement with afcb.co.uk.

“We are all very much looking forward to showcasing the Girls and Women’s programme with the game against Chelsea," he began.

“It has been a great season in terms of performances and results, and we look forward to playing our first game Vitality Stadium.”
