Goalkeeper Daniela Kosińska stressed AFC Bournemouth women would take it one game at a time in a bid to keep up their push for league success.

The Polish stopper, who signed for the club from Hibernian in the summer, kept her eighth clean sheet of the campaign in National League Division One South West as Steve Cuss’s side sealed a 7-0 victory over Portishead Town.

Kosińska watched from the other end as Erin Bloomfield scored four times to go with goals from Molly Barron-Clark, Kenni Thompson and Chloe Gilroy.

That victory kept the Cherries eight points behind Exeter City, with two games in hand on the league leaders.

Kosińska and her teammates also still have to play Exeter in their final game of the league campaign next month.

Speaking to afcb.co.uk after their latest victory, the 23-year-old said: “It’s great that we can get another clean sheet. We definitely needed that as a team to get on the right track and that’s what we did.

“We did have a little bit more in the second half but I think we just controlled the game as we should. We were happy to get seven goals as well.

“We need to keep winning and winning because that’s what matters. Our situation doesn’t really change to be honest.

“We are still pushing to win every single game as they come. All we do is just focus on the next game.”

The former Birmingham City and Stoke City keeper has settled in on and off the field since making the move from Edinburgh last summer.

She insists the unity throughout the club has been a key factor in making her feel at home.

“The girls are nice, people are friendly and the club. I think it’s a very family-based place. It’s really nice around the club and in Bournemouth itself,” said Kosińska.

“I’ve settled down pretty well. I live like two minutes from the beach so what more can you want?!”

Cuss’s side are back in action when they make the trip to face Bridgwater Town on Sunday (2pm kick-off).
