Chloe Newton has signed for AFC Bournemouth Women from Southampton.
The striker, who previously played for the Cherries in the 2015/16 campaign, was top scorer as the Saints won promotion from the Southern Region Women's Premier League in 2019, netting 31 goals in 23 appearances.
She then went on to feature for the fellow south coast outfit in the Women's National League, as Southampton looked set for a second successive promotion before the season was declared null and void due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Newton will now link up with Steve Cuss' side, who last weekend made the first round proper of the FA Cup and have started the season with six straight wins.
A cup clash with former club Southampton looks likely to be Newton's first game in red and black, with a date and time for the fixture yet to be confirmed.
