Stanislas named Under-18s assistant coach

The legendary former midfielder replaces Andrew Surman in the role, who has taken up an academy position at Southampton.

Junior made 179 appearances for the Cherries across a nine-year period, winning two promotions to the Premier League.

Since announcing his retirement from playing earlier this season, Junior has since spent time working across the academy.

Tonight will see his first game in the dugout, with the FA Youth Cup fifth round fixture against Tottenham Hotspur taking place at 7pm at Cherry Red Records Stadium.
