Over 500 enjoy Junior Cherries open training session

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth was delighted to welcome 525 Junior Cherries to Tuesday’s open training session at Vitality Stadium.

Young fans arrived in their numbers and braved the rain to watch their heroes prepare for Saturday’s home game against Arsenal.

Cherry Bear was on hand to say hello, with our Power Strike game also making for good entertainment outside the Junior Fanzone.

Additionally, there were plenty of prizes to be won with pitchside games such as ‘Heads and Tails’ plus a keepy-ups challenge against women’s players Molly Clark and Jess Treweek.

After the session, not only did the Junior Cherries get to hear from captain Lloyd Kelly, they were also invited to get signatures and photos from the squad, with first team head coach Scott Parker present as well.

For a full look at the day, just watch the video below or scroll through our attached gallery.
