AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

We can confirm the four nominees for the Michael Matthews Player of the Month award for January.

Andoni Iraola's side secured passage on two occasions in the Emirates FA Cup, defeating QPR and Swansea City.

Here are the four nominees...

RYAN CHRISTIE

The Cherries man has highlighted his importance to the team throughout January, particularly during the win over QPR.

Coming on as a half-time substitute with the Cherries trailing by two goals, Christie played a pivotal role in helping Iraola's team secure a memorable comeback.

He was similarly impressive in the rampant win over Swansea City, playing for the full 90 minutes.

LEWIS COOK

Talk about Mr. Versatile! Throughout January, Lewis Cook has played in three different positions.

Starting in his usual central midfield role in the win over QPR, he spent the second half playing as a centre-back.

In the victory over Swansea City, he turned out at right-back towards the end of the game following James Hill's injury.

ALEX SCOTT

The Cherries' star boy! Scott has shown his immense talent throughout January and has three goal contributions to show for it.

The 20-year-old put in a perfect corner for Kieffer Moore to head home as the Cherries beat QPR.

Scott then assisted Luis Sinisterra in the win over Swansea, scoring himself in the 5-0 victory.

LUIS SINISTERRA

The talented winger is starting to really establish himself in Iraola's squad.

His most important performance came in the 5-0 win over Swansea, scoring and assisting in the game.

Sinisterra's direct and attacking running made him unplayable for the game.
