AFC Bournemouth will have Marcos Senesi back available for the Carabao Cup tie with Liverpool.

The Argentine international missed the weekend’s impressive victory over Burnley due to injury but has recovered in time to face Jürgen Klopp’s side at Vitality Stadium.

Elsewhere, Mark Travers, Luis Sinisterra and Lewis Cook will all be missing for the game, with Travers and Sinisterra cup tied having already played in the competition with Stoke City and Leeds United.

Cook is serving the second game of his three-game ban after being sent off against Wolves in the Premier League.

“Injury wise situation hasn’t changed apart from Marcos Senesi who will be back,” he said.

“We have enough players and we have strong competition in some positions in the squad.

“We need to see how the players recover from the game on Sunday, some of them are more tired than others but no one ended injured and everyone is available.

“We take the decisions to go with the team best for this game, how they recover and how they fit our gameplan.

“It’s a chance we have to create history for this club in this competition. They are the favourites but it’s just one game and want to try and put pressure on them.”
