AFC Bournemouth have a near-clean bill of health as they prepare to host Middlesbrough in the Championship on Good Friday.

The Cherries host Boro in a 3pm kick-off at Vitality Stadium, with key players David Brooks, Junior Stanislas, Adam Smith and Philip Billing all fit to return to the squad following injury.

Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference, Jonathan Woodgate spoke about the availability in his squad ahead of the meeting with Neil Warnock's side.

"Everyone's back fit, apart from Lewis Cook who, as we know, has got a long-term injury," said the head coach.

"Brooks is back, Smith's back, Billing's back and Lloyd Kelly's back, so we've got a full squad to pick from except for Lewis.

"Brooksy will be there or there abouts, he's trained well the last week and this week and has looked really sharp.

"He floats past players and sometimes you don't understand how he's doing it, he doesn't look like he's running the quickest but he just glides past them, he's got that ability.

"Brooksy's looking good, we play Friday and on Monday, there's a lot of games coming up."

As well as the return to training of the injured players, Woodgate also filled in on the players returning from international duty, focusing on Lloyd Kelly whose European Championships campaign with England under-21s came to an end in the group stage on Wednesday evening.

He said: "I've seen Longy (Shane Long), he's fine, Travs (Mark Travers) is okay, Meps (Chris Mepham) is perfect. I've not seen Lloyd, I'm not sure if he's back in the country yet, but apart from that all good.

"(England under-21s' exit) happens in your career and you learn big lessons from it, as a manager I always encourage my players to go away and play on international duty because it can benefit them in the long run.

"Especially moving up to the senior squad as we hope Lloyd will be able to do, he's going to learn lessons from it. It's a different ball game going from a Championship game to an international game.

"He's going to learn a lot from that - I watched the game last night and I thought he did well."

With nine games to go in the Cherries' push for the play-offs, Woodgate said he's aware of the demands being played on his squad and hopes his squad will steer clear of being overly hit by injuries.

"Fatigue will come into it," he said. "You also need to be lucky with your injuries, you can pick up injuries out of absolutely nowhere. Everything can be looking good and then something can happen.

"With the schedule we've had this season, that's been happening and it will go on until the end of the season, hopefully we'll get a bit of luck and will have a full set of players to pick from."
