Voting for AFC Bournemouth’s Michael Matthews Jewellery Player of the Month for September is now open.

The Cherries were unbeaten in the Premier League in the past month with four nominees available to vote for on the club’s Twitter profile.

After starting off September with a superb win over Everton, the Cherries then went on to secure a first ever win at St Mary’s against Southampton, before a home draw with West Ham United in the Premier League.

Seven points secured from a possible nine mean that Eddie Howe’s side sit in eighth place in the table.

The first nominee is striker Callum Wilson, who scored in every Premier League game while also becoming the first Cherries player to ever score in four consecutive top-flight matches.

Wilson scored twice against Everton and notched single goals against the Hammers and the Saints.
Joshua King has slightly shifted position over the past month, but has been impressive as a winger for the Cherries.

The Norwegian got two assists against Everton and also scored and assisted in the 2-2 draw with West Ham.

Elsewhere, Diego Rico has played every league game in September and has put in some accomplished displays from full-back.

Rico got two assists in the month, with his superb pass setting up Wilson against Everton and his corner providing Nathan Ake with his first goal of the season at Southampton.

Ake himself is the final nominee, with a number of characteristically calm and assured performances at the heart of the defence.

You can cast your vote on your choice on the club’s Twitter poll here.
