AFC Bournemouth face their first away fixture of the season this weekend, facing West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Following a 2-0 win over Cardiff City last weekend, the Cherries are back in action with a trip to West Ham. Last season, both fixtures ended in draws, with little between the two sides, who finished a place apart in the final Premier League standings.

West Ham had a mixed season last year, flirting with the relegation zone for large parts of the season. They'll be looking to kick-start their home form with three points, much as the Cherries did last weekend.

Last time out

Liverpool 4-0 West Ham

West Ham faced a tricky opening day fixture at Anfield, with last year's Champions League finalists Liverpool running out 4-0 winners thanks to goals from Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Daniel Sturridge.

There were a number of debutants in the West Ham side, with £40 million signing Felipe Anderson and former Cherries loanee Jack Wilshere starting. Both will be looking to record their first win in a Hammers shirt this weekend.

West Ham United: Fabianski, Fredericks, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Masuaku, Noble, Rice (Snodgrass 45), Antonio, Wilshere, Felipe Anderson (Hernandez 62), Arnautovic (Yarmolenko 67).

2017/18 top scorer: Marko Arnautovic (11 goals)

Team news

Manager Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that he has no new injury concerns ahead of this weekend's game. Six of the Hammers' nine new signings made their debuts at Anfield last week, with several expected to feature again.

The Chilean has, however, admitted that he is unsure of whether last-minute signings Lucas Perez and Carlos Sanchez will play a part this weekend, both of whom have had just over a week training with their new teammates.

Manager

Manuel Pellegrini has plenty of experience to his name, previously managing the likes of Real Madrid and Villareal.

However, English fans will best know the 64-year-old as the man that guided Manchester City to their second Premier League title, as well as two League Cups during their tenure.

Top stat

Last weekend, West Ham captain Mark Noble covered more ground and made more passes than any other visiting player.
