AFC Bournemouth showed promising signs but were beaten by league leaders Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Cherries threatened a lot more in the second half after they were under pressure in the first, with Dominic Solanke forcing David Raya into a save before Justin Kluivert fizzed a shot wide.
Antoine Semenyo thought he had pulled a goal back but his strike was ruled out for a controversial foul on David Raya by Solanke in the build up.
After a VAR check, Peter Bankes agreed with on-field referee David Coote that Raya was obstructed.
