AFC Bournemouth will host Southampton in the quarter-finals of this season's Emirates FA Cup.
The Cherries learned their cup fate after being picked out of the hat in Thursday evening's draw, having won through 2-0 in their tie away at Premier League side Burnley on Tuesday evening.
The club are through to the final eight of the competition for just the second time in history, the only other occasion being the famous run in 1956/57 when Freddie Cox's 'Pippins' knocked out Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur before being narrowly edged out 2-1 by Matt Busby's Manchester United at Dean Court.
The Cherries' quarter-final fixture will be played on the weekend of 20th March, with full details on the date and kick-off to be announced in due course.
