AFC Bournemouth's Dango Ouattara has been named in Burkina Faso's squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations competition.
His Cherries teammate Antoine Semenyo has been named in the provisional squad for the Ghana squad, with the final squad due to be named shortly.
Ouattara is a key member of the Burkina Faso squad, winning 17 caps and scoring seven goals.
The winger, who has played a starring role at left-back recently, will join his national team at the tournament in Ivory Coast following a training camp in Dubai.
Burkina Faso are placed in Group D of the competition and will take on Mauritania (16th January), Algeria (20th January) and Angola (23rd January).
Meanwhile, Semenyo has been named in a provisional squad of 55 players for Ghana but will hope to add to his eight caps in the upcoming competition.
If selected in the full squad, it will mark a second major international tournament for the winger, who represented his country at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana, who are placed in Group B, will begin their tournament against Cape Verde (14th January) before taking on Egypt (18th January) and Mozambique (22nd January).
The players heading to the tournament will be available for the upcoming game with Tottenham Hotspur before linking up with their national teams on 1st January.
They will definitely miss the FA Cup game with QPR and the Premier League game with Liverpool, with further games depending on progress in the competition.
Finally, Cherries midfielder Hamed Traorè has been named in the provisional squad for competition hosts Ivory Coast but will not take part, having been ruled out through illness.
