Gallery: Heartbreaking defeat in Hampshire Senior Cup final

The Cherries had dominated large portions of the game and it took heroics by Basingstoke goalkeeper Mark Scott to deny Alan Connell's side. 

The shot-stopper made brilliant stops from Michael Dacosta Gonzalez, Dominic Sadi, Ben Greenwood and Brooklyn Genesini in the game. 

Will Dennis made an impressive stop of his own from Sam Argent's header before Greenwood made a goal-line clearance from Wilson's drive. 

However, the game swung into Basingstoke's favour in the dying seconds of the game to prevent a Hampshire Senior Cup double for the Cherries, following the women's team win on Tuesday evening.
