AFC Bournemouth climbed to third place in Group South of the Professional Development League thanks to a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Bristol City on Tuesday.

The Cherries extended to six games their unbeaten run in all competitions - with goalkeeper Cam Plain keeping a sixth successive clean sheet.

Skipper Max Kinsey drew first blood for the hosts at Wimborne Town's New Cuthbury when he slotted Finn Tonks's cross past Robins goalkeeper Joe Duncan in the tenth minute.

Alan Connell's team made it 3-0 with two goals in as many minutes, Michael Dacosta Gonzalez and Toure Williams on target midway through the first half.

Ben Greenwood, who had a hand in the Cherries' opener, provided the assist for Tonks to make it 4-0 in the 53rd minute, the full-back rifling his corner into the roof of the net.
