AFC Bournemouth under-21s took command of Group E in the Premier League Cup with a brilliant 2-0 win over Southampton.
Alex Dobre opened the scoring with a superb strike from 25-yards, before Jake Scrimshaw doubled the advantage with a smartly taken finish in the area.
The result puts Shaun Cooper's side top of Group E, with Southampton dropping into third place following Stoke City's 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
