AFC Bournemouth's under-21s coach Carl Fletcher felt his side faced another good test against Category One outfit Fulham on Saturday.

The Cherries drew 3-3 with the Cottagers in the capital, with Mikael Ndjoli netting two and Jordan Green scoring the other in the friendly draw.

Fletcher was pleased with his side's application and is also looking ahead to the pre-season trip to face Eastleigh at Silverlake Stadium on Tuesday night.

"It was a good workout against a Category One side so they're obviously a good side and had some really talented individuals," he said.

"It was a good step and another good test, but there's still plenty for us to improve on.

"The whole aim of pre-season is to get fit and I feel our lads are continuing to push themselves which is good for us.

"We're mixing it up with a trip to Eastleigh tomorrow night. It'll be a different kind of test than the Fulham game and it's important during this period that we continue to have a varied fixture list to continue to give the players different environments to experience."

Supporters looking to see the under-21s in action against Eastleigh can purchase tickets on the gate with Adults £5, Concession £3 and under-7s free.
