Goadsby has signed up as an official partner of AFC Bournemouth’s charitable arm Community Sports Trust for a ninth consecutive year.

The independent estate agency will support the Trust’s highly popular schools’ project Citizenship & Respect, which uses young people’s love of football to encourage good behaviour at school, at home, in sport and within the community.

They helped deliver 97 sessions to schools across Dorset, educating what constitutes respectful and disrespectful behaviour in everyday life.

Feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive, with one pupil telling afcb.co.uk: “I feel that I have more understanding of how to show others respect and how to use this more when working with my teammates.”

Goadsby are also a new executive partner of AFC Business for the 2022/23 season, a new partnership for the firm.

They will actively engage with the club’s business club by attending corporate events and networking with local businesses.

Founded in Bournemouth in 1958, Goadsby is widely acknowledged as one of the largest, multi-sector independent estate agents and commercial property agents in the south of England and will use the business club to raise their profile further.

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director at AFC Bournemouth, said: “We are delighted to be continuing to work with Goadsby for a further year.

“Goadsby have been a popular partner for the club for nine seasons now and help deliver the important Citizenship & Respect project, which receives great feedback from teachers and students alike.

“We’re also pleased they will join our popular business club, allowing them to raise their already excellent profile and reputation in the local area.”

Paul Stewart, Managing Director of Goadsby’s commercial subsidiary, added: “We are delighted to be continuing our support of the Community Sports Trust for a ninth year.

“We endorse the Citizenship & Respect campaign, which has gained more traction every year, while witnessing Steve Cuss and his team in action within the schools is an absolute privilege.

“Furthermore, we are excited at becoming an executive partner of the AFC Business club and look forward to meeting new and familiar faces at the networking events.”
