AFC Bournemouth
Last week, AFC Bournemouth hosted the latest corporate Golf Day, which saw a number of local businesses partake in the event.
Kindly sponsored by Style, moveable partition specialists, the event was held at the Isle of Purbeck Golf Club last Friday and supported the clubs’ four chosen charities for the 2017/18 season.
With 22 teams taking part, all of which were made up of local businesses, guests enjoyed a coffee and bacon roll on arrival, before a round of challenging golf. After the event, players returned to the clubhouse for a two-course meal and coffee.
The event winners were Ford Civil Engineering, with Travis Perkins in second place and Intershellbic finishing third. Ford Civil Engineering also secured the Charity Challenge award for the best score on the last 6 holes.
The next AFC Bournemouth Golf Day will take place at Ferndown Golf Club on Tuesday 7th November. The event has been kindly sponsored, for the third consecutive year, by Eden Vauxhall and we would like to thank them for their continued support.
