Club Recipe: Valentine's cocktail

All the ingredients are available in large supermarkets and online.

Equipment

• Martini glass
• Cocktail shaker & strainer (if you don’t have a cocktail shaker and strainer, a large Kilner-style jar and sieve will work)

Ingredients

• 50 ml Bacardi Rum
• 30 ml White Zinfandel rose wine
• 37.5 ml Good quality pineapple juice
• 5 ml Grenadine
• 2 ml Vanilla syrup
• Ice Cubes

Method

1. Add 50ml of Bacardi to a cocktail shaker
2. Add 30ml of white zinfandel rose wine
3. Add 37.5ml of pineapple juice
4. Add 5ml of grenadine
5. Add 2ml of vanilla syrup.
6. Add a scoop of ice to the shaker.
7. Shake the ingredients hard for around 8 seconds.
8. Strain the ingredients into your martini glass with a cocktail strainer or fine-meshed sieve. (Don’t waste the foam)
