Take a look at our next club recipe, a passionfruit mojito.
It's great way to cool down during the warm weather at a barbecue and all ingredients are available in good supermarkets and online.
Ingredients
- Fresh mint
- 1 x Passionfruit
- White rum (We use Bacardi)
- Passionfruit syrup (We use Monin)
- Passionfruit liqueur (We use Passoa)
- 3 x limes
- Crushed ice
- Soda water
Method
- Place 12 mint leaves into a large tumbler and mash slightly with a spoon.
- Add the flesh and seeds from ½ a passionfruit into the glass.
- Add 19ml (Approximately ¾ of a shot) of lime juice to the glass.
- Add 12.5ml (Half a shot) of passionfruit syrup to the glass.
- Add 37.5ml (1 ½ shots) of white rum to the glass.
- Add 12.5ml of Passionfruit liqueur.
- Add a large scoop of crushed ice and churn ingredients together with a spoon until well mixed.
- Add another scoop of crushed ice and top with soda water.
- Stir gently and garnish with a leafy sprig of mint, ¼ of a passionfruit and a straw.
