AFC Bournemouth
A refreshing non-alcoholic cocktail that is perfect for those doing Dry January.
All the ingredients are available in large supermarkets.
Equipment
- Tumbler glass
- Cocktail shaker & strainer (if you don’t have a cocktail shaker and strainer, a large Kilner-style jar and sieve will work)
Ingredients
- 3 passionfruit
- 50ml cloudy apple juice
- 12.5ml sugar syrup
- Sparkling elderflower
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint
Method
- Add the flesh and seeds of two passion fruits to a cocktail shaker or large kilner style jar.
- Add 50ml of cloudy apple juice to your shaker.
- Add 12.5ml of sugar syrup / gomme to your shaker (we use Monin).
- Shake the first three ingredients with ice cubes.
- Fine strain through a sieve into a whisky tumbler filled with ice cubes. (This should catch the seeds and pulp from the passionfruit).
- Top with Sparkling elderflower
- Stir the drink gently to mix.
- Garnish with a quarter of a passionfruit and a sprig of mint.
