AFC Bournemouth
This recipe is perfect for Junior Cherries to enjoy and you don't even need many ingredients!
With half-term around the corner, why not give this one a go?!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 large ripe bananas
- 150g Scottish porridge oats
- 100g milk chocolate chips
You will need a mixing bowl, fork, tablespoon and a large baking tray lined with baking paper.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Turn the oven on gas 5, 190°C, fan 170°C.
- Mash 2 large ripe bananas in a mixing bowl with a fork until fairly smooth.
- Mix in 150g oats until well coated in banana.
- Fold through 100g milk chocolate chips.
- Use a tablespoon to scoop out 16 balls of dough.
- Place each ball on the baking tray evenly & press down to shape the cookies.
- Bake FOR 18 minutes or until slightly crisp & golden. They should be slightly soft & chewy in the middle.
- Allow to cool before serving. The cookies will keep for two days in an air-tight container.
